Welcome to the home page of my web development portfolio!

I am Andy Phasayaseng, a student attending Vermont State University and majoring in Computer Information Systems. During my semester with Mr. Lamberts Web Development class I learned how a webpage is realized. From the Hyper Text Mark Up Language (HTML) to styling the webpage with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). I learned the importance of the different elements and tags and how they change the layout and direction of the webpage. Early on I learned how to make an unordered list and an ordered/numbered list. Then how to add links to provide navigation to a webpage. The week after I learned to create tables to arrange any data you have so that viewers can analyze and learn from a neat and organized column and row format. Another important part of web development that I learned was creating HTML Forms! From creating spaces for users to fill in, to buttons that will submit your form. Forms are very important for websites that require users to give information or want to collect information from users. I also learned a lot from the discussions we talked about during the class. I’m not going to get into the details, but we talked about the impact of social change and how web-based media affects it, we discussed ethical & moral topics, and even talked about web accessibility.
